Memory Tag

My friend Marisa had this on her blog and I thought it was pretty neat. Here's how you play:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember.

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory of you. It's actually pretty funny to read the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

There are so many to choose from! Holy smokes. I actually had never met Suzzanne when I knew I was going to adore her. Typically I hate bubbly people, but there was something so contageous about the happy tone her voice carries the first time I conversed on the phone with her concerning a job interview. Because of her perfect laugh and great energy I wound up trying to act happy the rest of the day to mimic her enthusiastic outlook in life. I'm sad to say that I failed, but I'm glad I can always think of Suzzanne when I need a laugh.

That was a lame memory. I don't think good on the spot. I'm going to not think and then come and comment again with a better memory.

Okay, I thought of a better one.

One day at work I brought in a salad for everyone to share. Suzzanne was eager to try this salad that I'd talked about so much. Even after realizing that there was avacado (which she's allergic to) in it, she still tried to eat around it and put a fake smile on her face. While the gesture was appreciated, she really didn't have to do that. But thanks for flattering me anyway Suzzanne!

I love your blog Suzanne! Thanks for letting us know about it -
Remember when you came to my wedding and tackled everyone for the bouquet? NO? You're right - that was my niece and we hadn't even met yet. But my first memory was when I met you and thought you were perfect for Shawn :)

Well, I haven't known you all that long and my "memory" of you is before we even met. Bart called me one day and told me that he was "dating" you (since you lived in different states!) & he sounded so excited about you! I knew for sure that you were the one for him when he sent me pictures of you (he would never do that unless you were the one!) At that point I felt like I already knew you & was so excited to actually meet you!

I just keep thinking about the baby shower that we had for you a couple of months ago and all of the funny stories that you were telling. You are hilarious! You told us about Shawn and his spreadsheets and about getting sick in the car. Anyway, you had everyone in stitches!

Wow, Sue! Where do I start? WALKING to Arctic Circle for our ranch burgers and lime ricky's. Then lying on the grass dreading the walk back home. Spending all our money at "5 Star". Playing in Grandma's Halloween box. Roping the fake cows up in the barn. Playing in the irrigation ditch. The Days of '47 Queens Pageant! Everything RODEO. Playing "bucking bull" in the chutes. Babysitting Brittany together. Wow, we had some good times. Thanks for being a great friend!
